INDEXLooking for London apartment exterior for half day!
9 years, 5 months ago - Nick Hilton
Hi guys!
I'm shooting an episode of my new web-series and we're looking for an outdoor location at a block of flats. I don't have anything particularly specific about the flats in mind, except for the fact that we're looking for somewhere with a balcony outside the entrance that people can shout down from. I'm not sure of the exact term for this sort of balcony, but it should be accessed via the approach to the front door (hopefully you'll all understand what I mean, as it's a typical feature of many London apartments).
If you know somewhere like that (perhaps you live there!) and can help then I'd be extremely grateful.
Get in touch to nick@theclapperbored.com if you're prefer to reply privately. Many thanks!

I'm gonna bump myself because I need this for MONDAY 14TH MARCH which is, shockingly, just a few days away.
I will be immensely grateful to anyone who can help us out. I can offer a small amount of money to cover the inconvenience but do let me know if you have specific requirements. We're fully insured, pretty friendly and I will owe you favours for eternity.

Hi Nick,
You're probably not getting the engagement you want as nobody is in the position to endorse you filming. Ant block of flats is going to mean many tenants, a freeholder, and multiple leaseholders whose permissions you'd ideally seek, and a lot of people to potentially inconvenience. Have you thought about any old commercial building over the weekend? You'll have a busy day finding one today, but Sunday they'll be somewhat quiet and as they are more likely to have a sole tenant company, easier to get blessing. Although I'd all about Sunday instead of Monday ;-)
Illusions, we sell illusions, so with a few visual cues you may get away with it. We've passed racecourses off as airports, offices as hotels, etc before.

Just a thought if it's that desperate then go out find what you want and knock on a few doors and offer cash and show them your insurance certificate... Maybe would work?
