Looking for producers with a 'slush pile' of screenplays!

I am the course leader for the BA Screenwriting and Film at Sheffield Hallam University and we are piloting a new module next year called Reading Scripts. We would like one component of the module to involve the 'real world' activity of reading and writing cover notes for real unmade screenplays. I appreciate that there may be confidentiality issues with using screenplays in this way but I'd love to chat with producers/directors about how this could work!

It can be literally anything! The idea is just to get the first year screenwriting students used to reading scripts and writing up feedback.

Thanks Margaret, yes, we use these kinds of script libraries but one of the stipulations for this module is that the students are reading scripts that are still 'in development' (or stuck in a producer's reading pile!) to fit with the uni's work-based learning remit.

Hi, Samesh,
No doubt you've been inundated by the Writer Swarm [cue TWILIGHT ZOME theme] I'm working a noir at the moment, tentatively entitled KILL VAN KULL, about a detective who's actions led to a woman's death and he left the business to work on a tugboat. Until a lures him back into the gumshoe biz.
