Art department/Art student/Production designer - great location to showcase new talent

I know people do get cross about "looking for" with no budget but we are a small team of new filmmakers looking to gain some experience without spending a fortune and having found each other we know there are folks like that out there so if it might be you, read on...

We made a short film last year on a tiny budget (which I can send you if you email me lucy@lucylinger.com) and are working together again as a skeleton crew on a short film (under 5 mins, 1 location, 3 actors) looking at the insidious nature of domestic violence. It's set in a fancy dress shop (which is my day job!) at Halloween and we have access to lots of really cool props and costumes and an interesting space.

Expenses will be paid for travel, and food provided, and there will be a little bit of production budget but it will basically be making use of the over 2,000 costumes and props at the location. We want to create something moody and creepy to form the back drop for this very natural but disturbing little scene.

We're a friendly, happy bunch who just want to get as much practice as possible without spending a fortune as we ease our way into the industry professionally (We all still have day jobs - mine in the fancy dress shop, one guy at universal, a woman working in camera hire etc)

Would suit someone just graduating or getting back into the industry after a break who is looking to add to their portfolio and get experience on a small but interesting piece.
