Looking for UK or London based directors and cinematographers to collaborate with

Hi everyone,
I’m pretty new to the community so I hope I’m posting this in the right section.

I’ve worked in the PR industry for the past 5 years, shooting, editing and producing short form content for a number of big brands and clients. You can see some of my work here www.chrisdemer.com. When I started on this journey, studying film production at university and learning the filmmaking craft, I never imagined I would end up in the PR world as all I ever wanted was to become a DOP and work on ‘real’ films. It has now been too long I’ve neglected my dream and I’m trying to find ways to come back on the path I initially wanted to be on. Although the experience I’ve gained and skills I’ve acquired in the PR world are somewhat different to the film industry, I believe they can easily be transferred to other types of production.

So, I’m looking to collaborate with directors in similar position like me, wanting to start on this journey, or directors with some experience. People who want to work on smaller projects, whether that’s short films or documentaries, and need a cinematographer to work with. I’m keen to start small and build upon that.

Also, I’m looking for experienced cinematographers that have been in the business for some time, for a different kind of collaboration focused on learning the craft first hand on the job. Any role in the camera or lighting department on bigger projects would help, again I’m keen to start small and build upon that.
