Hi Don,

I'm a multi award winning writer based in the UK. I've had a number of co-written scripts produced and currently working with a new writer on their first feature about a fallen soldier in WW1.

I've also script coached on historical dramas.

I'd love to find out more about this interesting sounding project.

Je suis anglaise et nous avons vecu a cote de Rennes-le-Chateau dans l'Aude pendant 20 ans. Nous avons une connaissance de Berenger Sauniere, Marie Denarnaud et "le secret qui nia Pace" plus profonde que quiconque.
Nous avons grimpe le Mont Bugarach et le petit pic au centre du pentagone.
"Penitence, Penitence, Mission 1891".
Saviez-vous l'importance de cette date?
Clovis?
Est-ce lie a un certain Clovis Dardentor du roman de Jules Verne, centre sur le Mont Bugarach?

Hi Don,
Thanks for your reply. Is your story then perhaps about the treasure of Solomon's Temple, taken by the Visigoths in 410 AD when they sacked Rome and taken to Carcassonne?
This included the seven branched candlestick and the ark of the covenant. We are aware that the Germans searched for this treasure during WW2 in Carcassonne.
If so, then The Promise Tree is about the same subject but ultimately takes the reader back beyond 8000 years.
The children are only incidental to the telling of the story - a means by which to describe place and atmosphere.

Good luck with your script. With any luck we'll get ours into script and production one day.

You might want to speak to Eugene Stickland. He is based in Canada and has written some great stage plays that recieved critical acclaim. He is also a novelist and lecturer.
