7 years ago - Laith Sami

I am working on a short film. Looking to shoot in a cave. It's still a low budget film. If an one has shot in a cave or know an were to shot in a cave that would be great.

If you approach them right, maybe they'll let you shoot low budget in a side cave or something. That's pure speculation on my part, though. Here are their standard fees - http://www.chislehurst-caves.co.uk/rates.pdf

A friend of mine made his first short using Chislehurst Caves - it served it's purpose very well. Let me know if you want more details...

If you are prepared there are very many caves with full services, most have various lighting in place which can be used creatively with your own kit. If you go North to the Penines there are plenty of accessible caves with No Lighting or fees. Many mines are also available, for a fee. The slate mine near Harlech has lots of natural rock and interesting levels and arches through which to light/shoot. Talk to cavers, They know all the good places.
