Looking to take production stills of camera and lighting departments to include in a book on cinematography

Hi, I have been commissioned to write a book about cinematography for Taylor Francis, Focal Press for the North American and UK markets due for publication in June 2018. I would like to include some shots of the camerawork and lighting set ups (and if possible the collaboration between the director and the DP) on some interesting productions (both small and large) taking place in the UK between August and October 2017. The shots included will credit the production and highlight the skills of the crew involved and if the producer would like shots from the finished film included that would work nicely too and could help raise the profile of your film. I wouldn't be shooting during takes, am very happy to stick to the producers guidelines as to whether to include cast and to check shots for approval if appropriate. Many thanks, Tania.

If you offer to shoot some EPK for a film at the same time for free, it would make your offer more attractive than just having a random drop in and start shooting. Might be worth offering on that front as you'll then be formally engaged and access will be easier as you can be 'controlled' not to share private film information
