I just made this Youtube video breaking down what I did to make my last short film, which I made with no crew and a budget of $600 -

The Youtube video demonstrates the tips with clips from the film, but if it's TLDR, my top tips were-

1. Prepare a master list of everything you can't forget to bring/do for shoot day
2. Play to your advantages (being low-key and nimble)
3. Control your quality control
4. Prepare a thorough shotlist and schedule for the shoot day
5. Go the extra mile in post
