Hey folks! I've got an exciting short film script and am searching for the right producer to join the project. I'm a Film Maker based in the North of England with a background in VFX/Motion Design and am looking to apply to the current round of BFI Network funding which has a deadline of the 9th May.

Logline:
Emerging from a forgotten place, deep in the woods, a fragile young man struggling with his mental state, tries to make his way home to ask for help whilst his desperate father searches for him.

Genre:
Drama/Magical Realism

The idea:
This is a film that touches directly upon some pretty shocking figures around the current state of male mental health in the UK and explores the crisis through a father and son relationship.

I'm looking for someone who really wants to collaborate creatively and make some magic happen whilst still highlighting an important and very current topic.
