I am making a short film called Struggle about teen depression and suicide. This is on the increase in schools and universities and having first hand knowledge of the problem feel it is to do with societies pressures. The pressure to do well at school and university, hold down a good job, have a great relationship with friends and get an amazing partner all the while staying thin and pretty if you are a girl and cool and sporty if you are a boy. The pressure is enormous to conform to this mythical "type" and further compounded by social media images and bullying if you don't fit the mould.

Perhaps you suffer from depression yourself or know someone close who does. It seems to be more common in creative types.

I have a teen charity interested in sponsoring me, but it's early days, so as I plan to shoot end of August I am forming a private crowdfund for this film. Every penny will go towards the film and non to pay me as I am offering my Director and production services free.
The film I hope will be offered to schools to make people aware they are not alone and can seek help.

Very luckily I have had many offers for all the cast, but still need a few crew (advertised on shooting people page too)If you can at all contribute to this I would be very grateful.
