Crowdfunding needs a crowd. Build that before you run the campaign. The campaign doesn't create the crowd and that's where most people fail at crowdfunding. That's the best advice I can offer on that subject.
Other ways to get your budget is to get reductions in services. Editing facilities that cost £1000 offered at £500 is the same as being given £500 towards the costs. Personally I try and reduce the hard costs on items, like facilities, kit, locations etc. And not cut back on people costs - crew and talent.
