Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know about my new blog post: Sound in Lars Von Trier’s Dancer in the Dark & Breaking the Waves.

I chose to write about these two films because they’re a very good example of what film sound can be apart from sound effects.

This post in particular will be of interest to screenwriters since sound plays an active role in the narrative and is closely linked to the theme of transcendence that both films share.
