Narrating audio books

A couple of days ago I posted this:

I'm nothing to do with the Amazon-owned company ACX.com, but what they do is provide a means for narrators to link up with authors and publishers who want audio books produced.

They provide the distribution network as well and payment schemes. You can read about it here www.acx.com/help/how-it-works/200484210...

Thing is they've just opened up to the UK, but I'm betting that the biggest group of people who could benefit - actors - know nothing about it. So I thought I'd mention it :-)

I'm one of those authors, and I'm looking for a narrator for my novella (22K words) on a 50:50 profit split. (ACX send the money out so there's no question about you receiving your cut.)

Anyway, my book is here www.acx.com/titleview/AUGPW7AI6EQD0... but they have hundreds of others you can take a look at.

Since then I've been contacted by lots of great people (hi guys). Anyway there seems to be lots of confusion over ACX itself well I just discovered this talk from a writer and actor about working on an audio-book project.
