I'm looking for someone to create a dynamic, stylish and informative website - for me. It's a personal website promoting my services as a Producer/Production Mananger in the independent film sector.

I will obviously provide the information, pics, website etc. Need someone who has 2/3 days to spare to pull it all together. You can fit this small job in between your full time day job. I will need to see samples & recommendations of previous work.

Honestly try DIT-ing it WIX or SquareSpace or similar. It'll look decent and be technically well maintained

You could even use Wordpress. In fact you SHOULD DIY in order to get a feel for how everything works, what is easy and what is hard.

GOOD web designers are very wary of ignorant clients - people who have no idea what takes what time. But if you can say "here are some things I knocked together. I can't get it the way I want - the following issues are the problem" then they can see exactly what you need from them.

Hint - "pretty within template" is easy. "Bespoke template" is harder, functionality (like ecommerce) is harder and "pretty exactly the way you want AND functional" is when designers are earning their money.

Thanks for the advice.
