Hi all
I'm the trustee of GlobalGirl Media UK, the UK charity that empowers young women through digital media training, and we're hosting our first-ever film festival. We're open for submissions of short films up to 20 minutes long.

GGM UK's mission is to change the male-dominated media landscape, bringing more young women’s voices to the fore - in front of and behind the cameras. We particularly welcome submissions that present women's unique perspectives and the issues that concern them. The deadline is 24th March, 2020.

The Festival venue and date are to be confirmed, but will be posted soon at FilmFreeway and on GGM UK’s social media. The plan is to open on a Friday evening with drinks, networking with industry figures, and a screening. The event will continue with screenings, speakers and workshops all day Saturday, ending with networking drinks.
