Does anyone have suggestions for offsite video backup?

I have around 15 TB I need to create second backups of, in a separate location to my office.

Do individuals / companies in the SP community use subscription services or tend to invest in their own drives?

Any pros, cons, tips etc. welcomed.

15TB is a ton of data. A very big amount. It's just not commercially or practically viable to upload it to any long-term storage servers (eg Amazon glacier), so frankly buy yourself a set of drives and do your own backup over USB3, then leave them at your mum's house. Spin them up and check them every year or so. You will get some bitrot, so if data is worth backing up, it's worth verifying.
