Can anyone recommend online screener software which has the ability to track who/when/how users are viewing the film?
Like an advanced version of Vimeo, if you like.

I'd recommend VHX (https://www.vhx.tv). Upload 1 hour of video for free and send screeners/free copies to clients etc. You can make links time-limited and you can tell whether they've been viewed or not. I'm also pretty sure you can add a password. It's a great VOD platform with a lot of useful features.
