Outdoor location near London

Hi.

We're looking for an outdoor, rural looking location in or around London for a tiny-budget short film. One overnight shoot (September 28th) cast + crew of about ten. eg. a field, a park, a clearing in some woods, or any grassy area where we have a good number of angles where there's no obvious signs of civilization in the frame. It needs to be somewhere either reasonably unpopulated or reasonably secure.

This seems like it ought to be quite easy to find, but going through obvious routes like councils, wildlife trusts etc apparently ends up being quite pricey, considering it's just a night in a field.

Any offers or suggestions welcome!

Shirley Hills, near-ish to Croydon, Sth London, might be a runner for a guerilla shoot - woods, clearings here & there, no walls or fencing enclosures to prevent overnight access ...
