INDEXOutsourcing a short film project with little experience

Hi, i am looking to get into the art of film making this coming year. I begin a short course on the subject in january.
I want to create a short film. It will be no longer than 5 to 7 minutes. Smething with the cinematography style of the short film below..

I have a budget of around 1000 pounds. There should be only 2 castbmembers in this film. I have friends who are willing to act for free.
I know this is a brief description, but everywhere i look, people are advising that a 5 grand budget is what is required for a short film or something of that amount.
Can someone advise me howi could go about hiring the right people. I mean, i am looking for a cinematographer and someone to edit and make the final cut... Is my budget adequate to cover these do you reckon?

Dal,
I empathise with your problem. I key thing I look is their track record - I'm in the process of organise my production as that one thing. I have had the experience of editing being cinematographer and directing al at once but not a standard situation I find Film Crew Pro's recommendations very useful as a guide too. - I'm assisting in a producer capacity on other project and have used FCP and as long as you state accurately what yu are looking it should make find qualified crew a lot easier.
Hope this is of help to you.
All the best for 2013!!
