Hello shooters,

I am an award winning Italian Playwright and Scriptwriter now based in London and I have completed the script for a pilot episode of a web series I would like to realise.
As you all well know (and as this website itself is stating) I cannot make it on my own.

PARAPHILIA revolves around a psychotherapist, Domy, and all sorts of sexual abnormalities she deals with. From the dangerous autassasinophilia or hybristophilia (excitement when being close to death or to a criminal) and asphyxiophilia (induced asphyxiation) to the irrational spectrophilia (ghosts), the funny tripsolagnophilia (receiving a hair wash) or the peculiar maiesiophilia (pregnant women). And what about salami, popping balloons, crush fetish, icons and faeces?
There are over four hundred different cases, which gives quite a wide narrative choice.

I write a lot about sex, but please do not take this as a mere pornographic onanism. I relate to sex under a psychological point of view, as in how and why our happiness and satisfaction depends on someone else's will (pun intended) and the disastrous consequences this inflicts to our own social, sentimental, everyday lives.
That feeling of missing puzzle piece that keeps us staring at the same tile for minutes and minutes under the shower. That kind of concealed loneliness knocking on our forehead when at the supermarket we do not know which pasta sauce to choose. That eternal restless exhausting quest.
Sex is talked about, analysed, overheard, vivisected and referred to, but very rarely or mostly not at all seen (well, you have got to give them something here and there, haven't you?).

But Domy is not a saint herself, and her adventures intertwine with her obscure private life, her friends and the people they meet. You will find all the ingredients a good series needs: anti-heroes, romance, conflicts, coup de théâtre and resolutions.

If you do not know what a paraphilia is, here is the description:
A condition in which a person's sexual arousal and gratification depend on fantasizing about and engaging in sexual behaviour that is atypical and extreme. A paraphilia can revolve around a particular object (children, animals, underwear) or around a particular act (inflicting pain, exposing oneself).

I hope to have awaken your interests with my little teasing. If you are begging for more I will gladly send you my script.
I am looking for every role a production needs. A director and a producer would probably be a good start, but feel free to drop me a line whoever you are.
