Alas, not in London, but it's always worth trying some of the online print houses eg print24, streefreeprint especially for longer runs with longer lead times.

Hey Karel, for very small orders we use Azo print in Holborn - about £20 per unit. For larger runs we use Logans Run

Thank you Paddy. I have a few suppliers already - but always interested to know of others. Can you recommend?

Good quads are double sided (for backlit frames), registration needs to be right, they will not be cheap and will not be small runs. Single side prints, any large format print shop will be able to do A0 for you, you can then trim for quad. Not terribly cheap, depends on the print run length, but for single colour prints expect around £20 maybe, but it'll drop significantly for volume, say around 100pcs+ which may be as low as £250 (~£450 double sided).

The thing to remember with printing is that the printing isn't the expensive bit, it's the preparation. This is why 10,000 quads may only cost 25p each compared with £20-odd for one offs. But you don't need 10,000, so it becomes a bit of a balancing act.

I'd be very interested in hearing of a small run good/cheap double-sided quad printer too for a 3D Film Festival we're launching in October (in London). Please pass on any recommendations. (Hmm. Thinks: would they be recommendations if you didn't pass them on? Guess not.)
