INDEXprivate screening cinema - London
9 years, 11 months ago - Wasim Shafi
Hi, does anyone know of any small cinemas, bars, rooms or auditoriums in London - where I can do a private screening of my short film to about 20 people? The movie is 14 mins long and we'd only need it for an hour or two. I'd like it to be intimate if possible as there are not many of us.
Thanks

Hi all - thank you very much for this information. I went with the Exhibit cinema in Balham. Small and nice and not too expensive either! Thanks

That's easily enough http://screeningroommap.com/london/
Phone around. Some have an attached reception/bar facilities like MPC. Those that are part of a hotel will have a full but pricey bar. However you should be able to push some of your budget that way.

Whirled Cinema in Herne Hill would fit your budget, with some change ("Hire costs include projection, PA, bar staff and a dedicated technician") - depends on when exactly you'll need it ...
