Producer & Director team looking for short film script ideas

A Director and producer team are looking for short film scripts that have the potential of being produced in the coming year . We are looking for something well written, that stands out as being original and exciting in concept and is doable with regards to actually getting it made. The chosen script will be submitted to various funding schemes or will be produced through a crowdfunding campaign. As we are looking for a collaboration the writer will be very much involved in pre-production, being included in any discussions on script, casting etc. Being able to travel to London will be ideal for this reason. Obviously we will discuss this at length with the chosen writer to ensure they are still able to meet personal/work obligations while working on this project. We are open to any ideas or themes, as long as they are thought through properly, original and work in their entirety. Please send your scripts along with a short synopsis and personal Bio... Don't forget to spellcheck!

Hi, You dont mention any payment? Is there any? Or is it dependent on you getting funds? So you want to take an option on a script? With a contract? Have you got any links to previous work or is this a first project? Thanks

this will be dependent on funding yes - and we would take an option on a script. The writer will be involved in the process of course but we would need a guarantee that they would allow us to produce the script if we get funding. Well could you narrow the focus down. I have a lot of short scripts from 2-22 pages and range from sci-fi to twilight zone style stories to moral lessons involving kids to adults.

Thanks for the answer, I have several short scripts which are drama and social issue based and include, domestic violence against a man, a refugee crisis, a woman controlled by her parents into her thirties, a girl who becomes a reluctant prophet, a novice nun who becomes pregnant and does not understand where the baby came from. Small casts, limited locations all about 15 mins long. If any of these are of interest I will send a synopsis and then the script.
