Hi All,

I’m an early-stage writer/director, with two shorts under my belt, looking to collaborate with a producer who, like me, also wants to take a step up in terms of the scale and complexity of the projects they’re working on.

My first two shorts were simple, filmed in one day, one room. The first (CRASHING) was selected for four Oscar qualifying festivals and received a special mention for the Oscar/BAFTA qualifying Light in Motion prize at Foyle Film Festival, and was also just selected for Omeleto. I recently finished my second short (MA), which I’ve started submitting to film festivals.

I’m prepping my third short, “ONE”, which is much more ambitious, technically and thematically, running at around 25 minutes. Logline “In near-future Russia, a widowed woman is forced into committing an act that will forever change her identity as a mother”. The script is through to the second round of the ScreenCraft Film Fund ($30,000), waiting on results for quarterfinals.

My producer on the first two shorts has five kids, runs a company, etc, and so doesn’t really have the time to fully dedicate to a film of this complexity.

I’m keen to develop longer term creative collaborations that lead to features and so on (one written, others in the works).
