yoyo shooting people. Its me Bicky henriques. I'm in the process of setting up my own independent international film/TV Production company. i'm at the near end of completing my business plan. So for the sake of my business plan my business mentor have recently asked me to get a few example customers to list in my business plan. I will be having a business grant to set up my company. Anyway i will like some of shooting people filmmakers & musicians to be my example customers please. such as you can say you will like to use any of services like you will like me to help you work on a certain film project or you will like me make you music video for your music. But remember your example customers so you don't really have to use any of my services if you don't wish to for real. But i still need you as my example customers tho please. My website is nearly completed.

Hi,
Just looked at your site.
Few notes.
1) The pics on the front page make it seem hobby, not business.
Actually the whole site reads like a hobby.
2) Text in NEWS should not be about plans, but actions.
The great thing about this biz is that any project that has legs is "in development". For the ones you are serious about you can then say "script in progress" or "script available, currently packaging". Or, praise that day, "shooting in October 2014 with Andy Zaltsman as Job, and his modern world trials".
Words like "soon" and "got plans" are read as "dreams".
An LA and NYC trip, so what do we care about your holiday plans? If it's "USA to work with Christopher Nolan" then that's news of business import.
"International" - hell we're all that. It a blag word UNLESS you can back it up with something solid - a US business partner, that you have the visas etc so I can hire you to fly out tomorrow to film my presentation at BIG CONFERENCE etc.
3) Where's your existing work?
You want strangers to buy into you, you need to have work to show. All your competitors do, so show it. If you need more :-
Music videos - you can walk up to any unknown band and offer them a free video. Multiple bands and soon you have a solid body of work.
Other stuff takes more organising, but you have done shorts? Docos? Local charities, tourist attractions etc will often let you do a free video for them.
For your black ents series, find a pub and run your own regular night, filming it as a web series.
4) FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS
A potential client wants you because of what you can do. A web site that says "we can do everything" simply won't work when it's clearly a one woman operation.
So what do you intend to market? Decide, and focus on that. Music vids? Corporates? Travel? If I want someone to film my advert I will go to someone who clearly LOVES shooting adverts. Who has adverts to show me, and who hasn't put it at number 6 on a long list.
So.....
IMO You need to totally redo your site so that it SELLS something that you think people will BUY, from YOU as an unknown one woman company, and for which you can show examples of your work.
Good luck :-)
