I produced/directed the Mongolian indie-music feature "They Sing up on the Hill" for just under £20K. It had a decent festival run. But I did learn a LOT about indie feature in the "world cinema" landscape. Get in contact at ian@reallynicecontent.com if you'd like to know more. Ian.

Hey Ian,
Thanks for your help. Definitely I would love to seek more information about break in the budget.

I don’t mind if we talk or if you’re based in London for a meet up.
Regards,

Nice work Ian. Just curious what kit/lens you used to shoot Bombay Christmas Jumper. Loved the colour.

Hi Alistair, that was just a good 'ole Sony A7Sii with a Voitlander prime. But the lighting and vibe came out really well. Ian.

I made an indie Cambodian horror “The Spell” for less than 20K and was a good learning experience. The film is on Amazon prime and playing on paid Tv in 14 countries in Asia. With a good team and appropriate script lots can be done in low budget. Hoping to shoot next feature in Norfolk soon.

Hey Ian ,
Sorry for late response. I watched the trailers of the film THEY SING UP ON THE HILL congrats! It looks really amazing.

Hey Amit,
Well done for THE SPELL. Would love to know about your next project. Any rough idea if I want to know how you split the budget.
Hey Alistair & Laszlo ,
Thanks for your interest
