Hi everyone,
I am Daisy, a MA student at Central Saint Martins.
I graduated from Beijing Film Academy, majored in film theory and screen play writing. I have been working as a film column writer for the biggest Chinese weekly for 5 years, also I am a freelance writer for The New York Times film section.
I am writing this for my MA final project which is about how to promote low budget domestic films in local area. At this starting stage I want to make a “documentary blog” to record the actual situation that the low budget domestic film makers are involved in. The blog is supposed to be bilingual, English/Chinese, especially for giving the Chinese film makers an opportunity to have a glimpse of their foreign companions’ lives and careers, maybe there are some cooperation potential as well.
As you know, China is now widely expected to overtake the United States and become the world’s largest film market in a few years, and as a film journalist, I have great channel to let them know what you are doing, and I am approaching the cooperation opportunity with BFI meanwhile, Any people interested in my project and want his/her film making process to be recorded please contact me.
English is my second language, forgive my poor English writing, but please give me chance to write your story in Chinese :)

Many thanks!!! I am looking for people who are making their independent/low budget films in UK, no matter he/she is in the financing stage or the pre-shooting stage, all I want to present is how British film makers are making a film real , independent film making is a tough job all over the world, I want to record the real situation we are facing, and I do feel the whole process is worthy recorded.

Hi Daisy,
I've been making films in an amateur way for a few years which have quite a following, although they have never been on YouTube. The latest one is starting to cause a bit of a revolution. I am now going professional. I have quite a good story to tell if you are interested.
