Dear Shooters, I have produced a sci-fi Shakespeare webseries called 'A Throne of Shadows' which is in three parts, but also makes up a short film of around 25 minutes. I am going to be submitting to festivals in the next few weeks and will be producing more instalments of the show in the future. Can anyone recommend the best festivals to submit to. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Simon

I can personally recomend Sci-Fi London a cracking festival, very well orgainised that gets lots of puclicity and full screenings, also Sitges, Fantasporto, the Festival of Fantastic Films Manchester.
Best of luck with your film and your submissions.
Regards Ray

To concur with Ray, Sci-Fi London and Sitges should definitely be on your list. Both very well established with great reputations. Here are some others you might want to check out:
Fargo Fantastic Film Festival
The Atlanta SCI-FI Film Festival
TORONTO AFTER DARK: Horror, Sci-Fi, Action
Berlin Sci-fi Filmfest
Trieste Science+Fiction Festival
Other Worlds Austin / Under Worlds Austin
Boston SciFi Film Fest
Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival

The Short Film Reviews Festival in London next June isn't specifically for science fiction, but it does have the bonus of an online review and link for all submissions, whether selected or not. Low fees too. www.shortfilmreviews.video, or via FilmFreeway
