INDEXScreening Independent Films in UK Cinemas

I work for a company called ourscreen. What we do is enable anyone to choose what films play at their local cinema. This minute-long video explains the basic process: bit.ly/1T76YwI and you can look at our website at ourscreen.com
I thought it'd be a good idea to introduce our website to the Shooting People community as I'm sure many of you will have made quality independent films that, for one of any number of reasons, might not have made it to cinemas, much as you would have liked to watch them on a big screen. Part of what we're trying to do at ourscreen is democratise cinema, so that filmmakers of any means can see their films playing on big screens across the country, so if you've made a feature-length film that you'd like to add to our website, so that yourself, or indeed anyone, can set up cinema screenings of it, we'd love to hear from you!
Sending an email to films@ourscreen.com is probably the best way of getting in touch!

Hi, so basically this Theatrical on Demand, like Gathr in the US? Does the filmmaker receive any of the revenue, or is this just a split between the Cinema and you as the Distributor (with the filmmaker having the no costs aside from DCP creation)?

Hi Yoel, this sounds like a good idea. As Stephan asks, can you tell us more about the finances? It's always great to see your film on a big screen, but MUCH nicer to get paid as well!
