Screening venues

We are completing a short film and will have about 200 people attending when the film is completed

Does anyone know of a venue in London that we could use on a weekday evening in February?

Hi Spencer, Maybe the Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch, at 196 seats? https://screeningroommap.com/london/listing/courthouse-hotel-shoreditch/

I'm curious about what responses you get back, as it's for a short film and weekday evenings can get pricey if a cinema has to clear a scheduled film in their programme... I publish the Screening Room Map website, which I am in the process of updating, redesigning and re-categorising, with all the post-Covid upheaval...
All the best with your search, Tony

Hi Tony

Many thanks for that

I have asked the courthouse hotel for a price and they will come back to me. They asked for my budget which of course I responded 'as little as possible'

I will let you know

Best regards

Spencer

Thanks, Spencer.

With far fewer seats, Close-Up is a indie-filmmaker-friendly option... Tony

When we did a cast and crew screening last year, we used the Soho Screening Room, which was reasonably priced. It's a dedicated screening room and not open to the general public, very popular for press screenings.

Maybe consider multiple screenings in the time you hire it so you can hire a smaller number of seats and just repeat the short in groups.
