Screenwriter seeks Irish-based Producer/Production company

I am looking to partner with an Irish-based Production company to enter Ireland's 30,000 euro 'Storyland' initiative. I have a 20 minute sensitive film script that is set against one of Ireland's dramatic coasts, it features characters with integrity and an unpredictable ending. The script meets RTÉ and Northern Ireland's delivery spec, and I have most of the additional background material needed to accompany our entry.

I am an experienced writer with several awards under my belt, and although my family are from Ireland I don't reside there and the rules specify that entry needs to be from a tax compliant Irish production company. They do not require a director to be attached at this stage.

Hi Carol,
Are you still looking for a producer?
I don't have an Irish company but they said the company can be set up at the time of the commission.
In the UK I work under Split Second Films.

Hi Margaret, many thanks for your response. Yes, I'm still looking for a producer - there doesn't seem to be that many in Ireland, but if there is this leeway then we could certainly give it a go.
