I'm a member of Messy Collective and they asked if we could share this in our various communities! I thought some people here might be interested as I've seen some people talking about the upcoming funding opportunities.

Here is their blurb, I think women and NB producers would be preferred but men are also welcome at their events!

Calling all producers looking for projects to apply for short film funding this spring. The first ever Messy Mixer features a diverse and talented group of emerging writers, writer-directors and directors, all looking to meet creative producers to develop ideas with.

Part-musical chairs, part-speed dating, and part-usual Messy fun, the intention is a low pressure, fun evening to make connections and lead to collaboration. Come with an idea you want to build a team around, or see what artistic sparks fly.
