Spotlight - the Petition...

In solidarity with my actor friends, I'm sharing the link to the petition to remove Spotlight's new tiered memberships.

I feel like Spotlight has been a great resource for actors and filmmakers alike for many years, but this new membership payment structure seems really out of tune with the current cost of living crisis... Especially considering health and wellbeing support is ONLY going to be available to Spotlight members who can afford the more expensive membership...

I posted here a while ago about the Writer's Guild and got some really helpful feedback from filmmakers on Shooting People, so I just thought I'd post this too, in case anyone wants to share their thoughts :)

Hi Tina,

Thanks for this, it's really interesting to see that the petition has been started by casting directors.

If any actors do take a look, I suggest scrolling down to take a look at the comments too. It's encouraging to see so many agents, producers, and LOADS of casting directors saying helpful and supportive things for performers.
