Standard Film Production contracts

12 years, 3 months ago - SP User

I have been filming for corporate clients and in other projects with composers and graphic designers. We of course have agreements via phone calls and e-mails but I want to put these into official contracts. However I am not sure what I need, can anyone recommend some (free) simple templates for work agreements and ownership rights?

Thank you for any help you can provide

These will be between a film production company and the client regarding services provided and ownership rights. And a similar contract between film production and freelancing music composer

Cheers

For corporates it's pretty much taken that anything you film on their clock is theirs to do with as they please, you're just a facility bought in, much like a plumber. Larger companies will insist on their own terms of business over whatever you propose anyway - just check beforehand, might save you a whole heap of work!

Who will these contracts be for? Crew, cast or clients?
