Hi y'all - anyone ever filmed in a supermarket in London? I have a short and literally only need 10min in a supermarket but all the ones I've asked (nr Stockwell) say no. Wondering if anyone knows a friendly store manager who'd let us behind the til for 10min?!

Hi Annabelle,

supermarkets are not surprisingly reluctant to lert filmmakers in especially if its low to no budget.

If i may suggest, looking for a supermarket a bit further afield of London, one that is perhaps not so busy, and be sure to give them confidence in your production, as in let them know you are fully insured, the crew is experienced and that you only need a small amount of time in the store.
If you are able to work around their schedule say perhaps film just before they open or just after they close they might be more willing to work with that.

Also just keep going with asking different supermarkets.

Could it be a convenience store perhaps? might have better luck with one of those in getting permission to film there.
