We are making a low-to-no-budget Zombie Apocalypse feature and are now getting rather desperate to find locations. Unfortunately, because we are a low to no-budget our searches for locations have not yielded anything we can secure.
We are based in Guildford and hoping that Shooting People of the Surrey area, know of estates people who would be friendly and directly approachable.
The locations needed are:
Something that can look like a dilapidated hospital, with an external 1st floor fire exit, for internal and a couple of external scenes.
A dilapidated house with a ground floor, stairs, 1st floor, a pull hatch to an attic, a basement, living room, a plain room and kitchen. Ideally an exterior which looks like the house is in the woods.
A dusty, empty shelved, no-longer in use supermarket.
A small chapel.

Hi Rachel I'm not sure what we have is of interest. directly we are a green screen studio in Hampshire (www.Apex-Studios.co.uk) which offer as a dry hire( We do other backgrounds as well) But we are on a site/ light industrial uni that has a dystopian feel to it and have links with a charity that has its facilities in and abandoned Ministry of Defence site near petersfield , Hampshire that might be applicable in your case ( i particular the dilapidated hospital bit). It wont be free but I sure we could make it affordable. Of course you can also use our green screen facility if you wish

Hi Rachel, I'm afraid I don't have any locations to offer, but wanted to say hi as I'm a filmmaker who lives near Guildford and would be happy to help out in other ways if you need anyone. Hi, I know of a largish closed down SPA convenience shop shop around the corner from me in Chandlers Ford, and a much larger closed down Blockbuster video rental in Southampton - both of which you would probably need permission to shoot in.

There is ASDA hyperstore that's open 24hours also Chandlers Ford you could probably get permission to shoot in for nights when it's empty.

Park Hewitt Hospital was an abandoned and used for a Secret Cinema event a few years ago :
5. Park Prewett – the area has been transformed into the Limes Park development, but it used to the site of a mental hospital, and was expanded until it held 1,300 patients in 1939.
