Telestream Wirecast 7 for Sale

8 years, 2 months ago - Ian Allardyce

Hello, I've been let down by a client who booked me to shoot a professional Facebook Live which never happened. Fool that I am, I forked out for Telestream's Wirecast 7 for £450!

I now have no need for it. Would anyone be interested in buying the Serial License from me for something like £250? It sounds kind of dodgy, but I assure you it would be fine. I would just pass all the details over and never log into it again!

Thanks, Ian.

Damn, you can't even imagine what a system to do what this claims to do used to WEIGH let alone cost! One time I'd have bitten your hand off!! Alas, can't use it now, but what a tool to own...

Thanks Paddy, yes, it does look to be pretty cool. Maybe I should just start pumping out Lives for my own enjoyment!

If nobody buys it then get an aspiring presenter and make a couple of shows so you know the software. You can always enhance it over time with an inexpensive teleprompter (so damn cheap now to get a DSLR/tablet-based model) and even a basic TalkBack with a Walkie Talkie and earpiece - and have a mini live studio that would have once cost you £50k + cameras !-)

Where are you based BTW? If Southwest I'll give you a crash course in live directing, it's great fun.
