CASTING NOTICE

A Tennessee Darkness is an independent horror film production which will be filmed in both London, United Kingdom and Tennessee, USA.

Set in the industrial-smoky rural outback of Hawkins County in 1980, a dark secret lurks within the Carter family threatening to affect the rest of the town. As the unravelling of a past history invokes the family, they find themselves embroiled in both discovery and the sudden and yet desperate need to survive the oncoming doom.

This particular shoot will be a proof of concept for the feature film.

As the film has Visual Effects, the actor will be required to wear a tracking suit for CG animation and Practical Special Effects Make-Up for creature design will also be applied. Please note, we’re looking for an actor with slender physique and good muscle tone.


BAPTISTE CARTER [GENDER: MALE] [ETHNICITY: AFRICAN AMERICAN] [AGE: 16-21]

Baptiste Carter is a young black male in his late teens from Hawkins, Tennessee. He's the eldest of two other siblings living with his parents. When a strange virus attacks Baptiste, he quickly becomes a feared entity. In order to understand his monstrous transformation, he has no choice but renounce himself whilst new cravings unfold.
