To everyone who has ever been part of Shooting People, Thankyou.

Shooters only ever existed for 27 years because people turned up. And turned up with ideas, graft, enthusiasm, kindness, and a brilliant indie energy that said YES. Or at least, ‘let’s try’ ;) You made the films, collaborated, shared the knowledge, gave each other help and advice when it mattered. That’s the SP story.

Thank you for building SP with us, a creative, stubborn, supportive corner of the world where the the strange, the brave, the homemade, the hilarious, the shattering, the complex, the rebellious, the necessary, the beautiful.. it all came together in thousands of amazing ways.

Yesterday we got a wonderful TY video from Rob and the South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network (https://syfn.org/), who have been our friends, partners and collaborators for over 17 years. A perfect reminder that the spirit of Shooters carries on in so many film communities around the UK.

KEEP making stuff! Keep annoying the algorithms..

And most importantly, keep backing and supporting each other.
