Hi!

Are any SP members heading to Edinburgh Fringe this year? It would be fantastic to know if any members are performing ♥

Like with any festival, attending by yourself (let alone performing) can be daunting at the best of times. So, if you're heading to the Fringe and want to connect with others who'll be attending, feel free to use this chat to connect over :)

Also, just out of curiosity... Has anyone ever taken a piece to the Fringe and then had it commissioned for film or TV work? Or have you developed your own Fringe theatre piece into film or TV work? If so, it would be great to hear your stories.

Connections that I made a few years ago as a result of a play that I had at the Fringe led to a short and a feature that is with producers who are now seeking funding. Hi Xenia!
I've never been to the Fringe since I have lived abroad all my life but have always wanted to go! I have some writer friends who are working on stuff at the moment that they hope to submit next year which is exciting!
As an actor though who has never been, does anybody have any recommendations of how to get involved? I know at other festivals volunteering to help run the day to day things is very big- has anyone ever done something like that?
Be interesting to know other actors' experiences!
