As you’ll know, SP will be wrapping up at the end of October, but we’ve still got time for one last round of our Kickstarter filmmaker picks. Kickstarter have been brilliant supporters of shooters over the years – backing events, sharing advice, and giving filmmakers direct access to their team in NYC.
Each month, we’ve connected five shooters with Kickstarter’s film specialists for tailored advice on crowdfunding, campaign best practices, and sometimes even a bit of promotional support to help get projects seen. If you’ve got a film you’re planning to crowdfund – or one already in motion – get your details in by the end of this month using the form below.

Also - just wondering if it's worth applying if I've not got something in mind currently... those contacts would be brilliant later down the line though!

Yes and YES!
Anyone who'd realistically be taking on lead/a role in a crowdfunding campaign would be eligble (often writers/producers/directors are all involved, sometimes just one of them...) so writers are accepted.
On not having a project in mind, that's a-okay to save for later. Brill if you do - but no worries if you don't.
