Konig ones are pretty heavy duty for the price. Of course that means heavy too.

I think the Manfrotto 055cx3 and MH500 fluid head are pretty much a basic minimum. Will cost you another £100 though.

Hi as i said i boght the E-IMAGE Tripod Kit EG03A2 with spreader and after 5 month i am very happy about it.
Yes it is heavy and not for every shoot but the head it is very smooth and it is a very good make.
It holds the prompter and the canon 5d with out problem.

If you've got some legs already you can just get a fluid head like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CHNREYS/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_IDeeub1GVCMAP. I use this for light shoots. A set of legs would be about £150 for single ones or £190 for doubles if you were going manfrotto all the way. I have a Konig one too and it's ok. Certainly solid but there are issues with threads going on one of the arms and a few oddly placed screws...plus it's heavy!

e-image from Proav about £175 for a fluid head

I spent a lot of time researching for the best cost. I have had this for a year and it's really sturdy with a great fluid head and kit bag. I think it's as good as a Manfrotto having used Manfrottos previously.

I have the Manfrotto MVH500AH head like Matt suggested. It's actually quite good and I use a sony FS100 on it.

No idea if this is still in good nick or not but they're a decent company so it should be...£125 is a fair price for a vinten.

It's no Manfrotto, but it is good enough and pretty study. Do your research first, there may be other options and one may be better for you. I note some of the complaints on that listing say there was no fluid head supplied - I can't speak for them, but there was with one I bought. It's not amazing, but it's OK, it works well enough for most jobs most of the time at least for me.
