Unconventional documentary forms and examples?

10 years, 5 months ago - Wayne D'Cruz

I'm putting this in Ask, but mods may want to move it to Discuss.

I wondered if Shooters could recommend documentaries that embraced unconventional methods to tell a story?

I'm thinking here of non-linear, interactive, installation, user-driven forms, but interested to hear about any and all examples.

I thought this was a very good example of an interactive film online: http://www.ringbalin-riverstories.com/

I'm also aware that documentary and online gaming seem to be intersecting more and more, producing some pretty interesting results. Would love to see some good examples!

Thanks,
Matt
