Hello from Richard in uk, i am based in hither green, near se london, i am in need of the cheapest possible location, day rate
for a planned shoot.
The location is needed for a planned-low-budget short film, possibly self funded. The short film would possibly be a day shoot, maybe costing £300 in all. Possibly not including budget to hire location, that depends on cheapest quotes.
If you know of any unused, disused location or facility, great.
The type of location needed-is supposed to represent the interior of an Air Traffic Control as the story is set inside an air traffic control tower.
Any location that could double for an air traffic control tower, such as a control room,or even better yet a Radar room, let me know too,but primarily the location is supposed to at the end of the day represent the interior of an Air traffic control room.
If you know of any location like the above needed, that is in or near london, please get in contact sagitarius215@yahoo.co.uk ,i need your help, thanks.

ATC room or tower? You mention both, and they're different. Towers will be at airports and are concerned with getting planes onto and off of the ground, and ground movements. They'll control the space maybe 10 miles around and at certain altitudes and approaches. The tower has visual contact with the airspace it controls. For this, perhaps an air museum might be a good lead, or a private weekend hobbyist airstrip somewhere on a Wednesday morning when it's unused. Naturally, expect your shoot to be interrupted by aircraft noise.

Outside that, NATS will be looking at screens in a control room which could be anywhere - and could probably be faked with a bunch of darkness and a few PC monitors with mocked-up displays. They certainly won't have any visuals on the airspace they're controlling.

Airspace is richly chopped up in a big 3D jigsaw puzzle with different diameters at different altitudes making cones and tunnels in the sky, especially somewhere like London!
