Hi all,
There are plenty of networking events and socials for creatives, but they all seem to be on weeknights. Does anyone know of any events to meet up with fellow screenwriters and filmmakers that meet during the weekend?
Or am I going to have to come up with my own beautiful monstrosity?

We've organised many networking events for filmmakers. Usually on weeknights. A weekend event would be good. Happy to help.

Okay, lets assume I get sucked into starting up something new, a networking and socialising event in London for filmmakers, screenwriters and related creatives...
What would people want of such a thing, other than a venue with a bar and fellow travelers of the filmic road?
What's worked for you in the past, what hasn't?
I did use to run a writers group for screenwriters, but I'd love to hear about other people's experiences, good and bad.
