What are actors paying for headshots these days? I don't mean the emotional toll it takes on them to bare their soul to the camera. I mean how much money do they typically part with?
Any actors care to enlighten me?

I'm not the best person to answer since I take my own but since nobody else is replying... It's one of those -piece of string- questions. There are people who will do a short session with a limited number of final shots, in natural light for £50 whereas some of the top London headshot photographers are charging £450 or more for a 4 hour session with a choice of studio or natural light, different looks, etc and, crucially, the knowledge to help actors to get great shots that will work for their type and catch the CDs' eye. This article might be useful https://www.actorsguild.co.uk/comparing-london-headshot-photographers/ although it's based on a survey of CCP (now Mandy) members. I suspect that the same survey among Spotlight members would show different results and if you were to survey those actors represented by, say, the top 50 agencies, you'd find different results again.

Cheapest deal I had was for £ 125 . My experience is that those who charge highest are usually disappointing .
