Other than Shooting People of course?
I've started a question over on Quora - if you answer here, I'll add it over there too and we can have a directory to share

Kid in the Front Row is a favourite, although maybe it's more biased towards film-lovers, than film-makers. http://www.kidinthefrontrow.com/

I'd suggest Guy Ducker's blog - Guy's a great editor (and director) with some great insights and points

So glad you posed the question - I'm learning about some sites I'd never even heard of, let alone been steered toward.

I've been a member of Stage32.com for about 18 months and have watched it grow from a loose community of film creatives into a viable source for resources, support and valuable networking. That's one you might want to check out. I'm mining it right now for short scripts to produce through FIFO (Fade In/Fade Out) a Lehigh Valley, PA filmmaking consortium, and the response has been good.
