Hi Yuki!
Great to hear from you - our main piece of advice is to never be afraid to reach out to our community.
Under production we get new opportunities listed daily - while a lot of them are UK-based, we really do encourage international filmmakers to post opportunities they've got on their current projects.
There's the ask forum here where you're welcome to post questions for yourself and others, anything film related goes! There's also discuss if you want to start a rolling conversation - that's a great way to meet likeminded creatives and there's also the option to DM them if you want to have an ongoing chat.
Asides from that under opportunites, there's heaps of funding opportunities, competitions and training options. These vary from film funds, to training workshops and more and we're continually updating these so keep an eye out and feel free to subscribe for updates.
New Shoots is our film and actors comp - it's free to enter as a member and is a great way to get exposure + recognition for your work!
If you're looking for inspiration or just want to check out some great indepdendent shorts - head to our Browse Films tab under community. There's a whole roster of films made by members of our community here!
Best,
Jim

Thank you for answering my question! I tried to work for post-production internationally from Japan and reply to over 10 offers. But I will keep on trying.
I will make use of "ask" and "discussion" . Recently, I posted about a website, black list, for a screenwriter. I hope I could provide something new or help each other out.
I will try new shoots! Thank you/
I assume you are a founder of this community?

Hi Yuki,
The forums are fairly low volume, but the quality is generally quite high - for me that makes it a good place to connect with people and share resources. For instance if I was shooting in Japan, I would look for someone on the ground there to get the ball rolling and help sort things out! I suggest having a good read through the archived ask/discuss posts too - there's some great quality information tucked away ;-)
