Big question! What will it be used for, what software will you want to be running, will you want to be running a lot of peripherals, how mobile does it need to be, how many different users do you foresee?

Almost certainly the one you feel most familiar and comfortable with, as long as it has a copy of Microsoft Office. My preference is for a great big heavy laptop but which has a very large very high resoluton display, desktop level processing power, and runs quietly. I tend to buy one or two rungss down from the top of the market each time i upgrade, so I can transcode video or run Avid when I need to.
If you're running round logging shots/stuff on the floor you want something light, if you are script reviewing, big screen will be less painful on the eyes. What exactly is the role? It may well be a £300 cheapie will do all you need anyway if it is mostly on a desk and doing spreadsheets, email, lists etc.
