Hello Shooters

I am planning to expand the amount of consulting work that I do and thought a good place to start might be to throw it open to an informal discussion.

Are there any ares that you feel there is not much advice available in? Sample problems I have advised on in the past are:

How do I get my film into cinemas?

What do I need to run a film festival at my venue?

Do I need posters and trailers before I can sell my film?

Do I need a distributor or can I do it myself?

My experience is in post-production, exhibition and distribution and my current day job is in technical management at a large distributor. I am happy to field questions from Shooters (just private message me) in order to get a better idea of the type of problems people are facing. Questions could be very short or could involve back-and-forth throughout the lifetime of the film.
